The Bear Bar is a boutique custom 3D printing studio built for tech companies that want swag worth keeping. No minimum orders, no off-the-shelf options.
We model, print, and ship everything in-house. From a single onboarding gift for your new VP to 500 keychains for a conference booth, every piece gets the same attention to detail.
How we started: The Bear Bar started with resin bears at farmers markets. By market three, I brought an NFC keychain my husband 3D printed as a desperate grab for Instagram followers. People tapped. People followed. People lost it. Time to pivot.
After a decade in HR at Silicon Valley tech companies, I left corporate in January 2026 to do this full-time. Why is it still called The Bear Bar? Because we do what we want. 🐻

Products & materials
What kinds of products do you make?
Everything we make is 3D printed. Branded keychains, NFC tags, desk figures, lightboxes, custom mascots, and hero installs up to 6 feet tall. We do not make apparel (t-shirts, hats, hoodies), paper goods, embroidery, screen-printed merch, or anything that requires fabric. If it can be designed in CAD and printed in plastic, we can make it.
What materials do you print in?
PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, and multi-color filament. For outdoor or high-stress use cases (think trade-show installations that get knocked into), we'll recommend the right material for the job.
Design & logos
What file formats do you accept for logos?
Vector files work best, SVG, AI, EPS, or PDF. PNG with a transparent background works too. If your logo is just on a website, send us a screenshot and we'll trace it for you.
Can you match my exact brand colors?
We can't match exact brand colors, but we can get close. Send us hex codes or Pantone references and we'll match to the nearest filament we have on hand.
Who's responsible for the logos and designs I send?
When you send us a logo, image, or design, you confirm that you have the right to use it (you own it, you're licensed to use it, or you have written permission). The Bear Bar isn't liable for any copyright or trademark issues that come from the materials you provide. If there's any doubt, please check with your legal team before sending it over.
Ordering & pricing
Do I have to have an idea already when reaching out?
Nope, that's our jam. We trust that you'll work with us on this project, so we're happy to come up with a few ideas. Just tell us what the event is and a general gist of what you need (activation, giveaway, décor, gift, install, etc.), and we'll do the rest.
What's the actual minimum order?
Truly one. We'll print a single keychain if that's what you need. No setup fees, no minimum quantities. Volume just gets you better per-unit pricing, see the pricing tiers.
Can I see a mockup before I commit?
Always. Every project gets a mockup + timeline + pricing for sign-off before anything goes to print. If revisions are needed, we iterate until you're happy.
How does payment work?
100% upfront before we start, since we need to order all the materials specifically for your order. We send invoices via QuickBooks, payable by credit card or ACH.
Do you accept returns?
Because every order is fully custom, we don't accept returns or refunds for change of mind. That said, we're not monsters. If something arrives damaged or has a clear manufacturing defect, let us know within 7 days of receiving it and we'll make it right.
Shipping
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, but US shipping is the sweet spot. We're based in Roseville, CA and have the fastest, cheapest rates domestically. International is doable; we'll quote it case-by-case.
International shipping is estimated at the time of order based on the best rates available. Final cost can vary based on actual carrier rates, package dimensions and weight, destination country requirements, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other import-related charges imposed by the carrier or destination authorities. If actual shipping or import costs exceed the estimate, the customer is responsible for the difference.
Do you do drop shipping?
Yes, we're happy to send you a form for employees to fill out to get their most up to date address, or for recipients in general. We use Pirate Ship for bulk orders.
Can we send you a shipping label?
Absolutely. If you'd prefer to use your own carrier account, just send us the prepaid label (or account info) along with your order and we'll ship using yours instead of ours.

How do I reprogram and use my NFC tag?
Your NFC tag is reprogrammable with a free app on your phone, no special hardware needed. Here's a quick walkthrough: watch the programming guide on YouTube →

What are the terms of service?
By placing an order with The Bear Bar, you agree to a few things. All orders are custom and made-to-order, and production begins once payment is received in full.
You confirm that you own (or are licensed to use) any logos, images, or designs you submit. The Bear Bar isn't responsible for copyright or trademark issues arising from materials you provide.
Quoted prices and timelines are estimates and may shift based on order changes or supply variability. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our capabilities or scope.
Use of our website, products, and services is governed by California state law. For the full terms, see our Terms of Service page.
What is your refund policy?
Because every order is fully custom and made-to-order, we don't accept returns or refunds for change of mind, color preference, or shipping delays outside our control.
If your order arrives damaged or has a clear manufacturing defect, let us know within 7 days of receiving it with photos and we'll repair, replace, or refund, whichever makes things right.
Cancellations are accepted before production starts. Once we begin printing, we can't issue a refund since materials and machine time are already committed.
What is your shipping policy?
We ship from Roseville, California using USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on order size, weight, and destination. Domestic orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days after production is complete.
International shipping is available but quoted case-by-case. Final shipping cost may vary based on actual carrier rates, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other import charges. If actual costs exceed the estimate provided at order time, the customer is responsible for the difference.
We don't guarantee delivery dates. If your in-hand date is critical, please flag this when ordering and we'll do our best to expedite production and shipping (rush fees may apply).
